Strategic Objectives of BRUCI

Strategic Objective 1: Empower Communities for Sustainable Livelihoods.

To enhance the self-reliance and resilience of rural and urban communities through capacity building, economic empowerment, climate-smart agriculture.  This is hoped to be achieved through promoting sustainable income generating initiatives that improve household welfare, food security and overall community well-being.

Strategic Objective 2: Strengthen Governance, Civic Engagement, and Human Rights.

To promote democratic governance, civic participation, and social accountability by building community capacity, advocating for policy and legal reforms, and supporting access to justice for marginalized and vulnerable groups.

Strategic Objective 3: Promote Health, Education, and Social Inclusion.

To improve community health, education, and social welfare through inclusive service delivery, awareness creation and empowerment programs. Advance gender equality, youth empowerment, and equity for all, especially vulnerable and excluded populations.

Strategic Objective 4: Foster Innovation, Research, and Environmental Sustainability.

To advance evidence-based development, innovation, and environmental stewardship through research, innovation, sustainable natural resource management. Promote climate change adaptation, knowledge sharing and resilient environmentally responsible community practices.
